 IMPORTANT:

The software contained in this package is meant to to be copied or "burned" on a CD. By means of that CD you can install your DIVA ISDN driver software together with the initial installation of Microsoft Small Business Server (MS SBS) itself.

If you may not be able to burn a CD you can only install the driver software after the installation of MS SBS. In such a scenario it is not guaranteed that the full functionality of Diva for Windows NT featuring SBS can be used.

DIVA for Windows NT featuring SBS is a specially adapted version of DIVA for Windows NT, suitable (only) for use with MS SBS.

DIVA for Windows NT featuring SBS version 1.01 (and higher) only supports the MS SBS version 4.0a based on Internet Explorer 4.0. The previous version, MS SBS 4.0 based on Internet Explorer 3.02, was only shipped in North America. This version can only be used with DIVA for Windows NT featuring SBS version 1.00. It is recommended to update the MS SBS version to 4.0a.

DIVA for Windows NT featuring SBS supports Eicon DIVA server BRI and DIVA Pro ISDN boards. This product natively suppports Fax service (as offered through SBS) over ISDN, modem connectivity over ISDN (supports V.34 with 28.8 kbps, V.34+ with 33.6 is under preparation) as well as various types of ISDN connections. You may want to use MS Proxy Server (part of SBS package) to speed up and simplify your internet connection through ISDN. All services are available while connected only to an ISDN BRI line. Installation is specially designed for SBS environment. When installing SBS and DIVA/SBS from scratch, SBS installation is modified to make life even easier.

This software is available free of charge. You may download it and use it with any appropriate Eicon.Diehl Hardware which you legally acquired.

Note though that it is not public domain. Therefore, you must not redistribute, modify or reverse engineer it or use it otherwise than intended with Eicon.Diehl Hardware.

This software comes in packages. Each one is a self-extracting, sealed ARJ archive.

You may download either of them, or - should you need so - individual diskettes. After extraction, you can install the software from your harddrive, or create installation diskettes.

This software is free of charge. See above for the exact terms of availability.

To download, proceed as follows:

  • 1. Select an empty directory on a volume with sufficient disk space.
    Depending on the package you select, you will need not more than 0kB to download plus extra 0kB to expand the archives (requires a maximum of 0kB free disk space).
  • 2. Download either a complete package or installation diskettes individually:

    To download the complete product (recommended):
    Download one of the following packages, according to your need (make sure you download the files instead of starting the .exe's):

    • Update from DIVA for Windows NT featuring SBS 1.01 to 1.02 (sbsfix_.exe, 29kB)
      Supported boards: DIVA Pro 2.0, DIVA Server Bri-2M The Internet/Intranet access can be build automatically by means of the SBS Proxy server autodial mechanism. To hang up an active line it is necessary to configure the idle time disconnect value. This update configures this value to 90 seconds. From version 1.02 on the idle time disconnect default value is configured during installation


    To download installation diskettes individually (optional):
    Should you want to download one or more installation diskettes individually, select the appropriate items from the following list::

  • 3. Extract the archive(s) you downloaded
  • 4. Look for the README file(s) (cd_root/README.1st cd_root/README.HTM doce_i/README.HTM doce_i/readme.1st doce_i/readme.txt docg_i/README.HTM docg_i/readme.1st cd_root/LIESMICH.HTM docg_i/liesmich.txt) and proceed as explained there

Acopy users may wish to download getacopy.bat, a batch file which acopys all archives as needed from Eicon.Diehl's ACOPY support server.
